Hey guys so I'm going to do 20s staggered I've read through all the post and I'm still just confused on ET here's what I'm looking at 20x9 ET 22 20x10.5 ET 45 Tires 245/35/20 Front 285/30/20 rear and I'm lowered on springs.
appreciate your input this is what the business is recommending for that size rims I'm just uncertain I don't want any rubbing but I do want to fill the fender well

Put your numbers in here:

Are you RWD or AWD?

I would run a 30 or 33 et on the front. Your proposed 22 et will push the wheel too far out past the fender.

Also, I would shoot for:

255 x 35
295 x 30

It's a perfect match for AWD diameter wise - and so is your proposed 245/285 setup.

I have 285's on a 10.5" rim and they look stretched to me. There were no 295 x 19 for all-seasons like I wanted.

Im RWD and I'm in deep ordered the rims with those offsets their custom drilled for stinger so no hubcentric ring and ordered tires attached there's a picture of the car with the same offset so I'm hoping it'll work it's from Kars Tuners and they swear by it so we'll see I'm going to hold them to it425316510-Stance Wheels 20 " SF07 - KIA STINGER

Something else to note is that the car pictured is lowered. If you're at stock height your amount of "poke" will be different than what they're advertising.

You're also going to still have significant wheel well gap. I went with the same size tires and this is what the wheel well looked like prior to being lowered. Still ready for some light off-roading. The tire sizes you're looking at are roughly a half inch taller than stock so that's about how much wheel well gap you're going to be closing.

Those were 9" +35 front and 10.5" +45 rear, iirc.

At +22 you should probably expect some poke in the front, so you won't be disappointed. And if they happen to fit flush you'll have a pleasant surprise.

Using:

255 x 40 x 19 = 27.0" diameter
285 x 30 x 20 = 26.7" diameter

Therefore, the new setup 0.3" shorter, which will increase the gap by 0.15". Not that much, but the gap is increased, not diminished.

Makes your brakes look tiny, like little drum brakes.

That's incorrect. His new setup will be .7" taller than the original setup.

The stock tires aren't 255-40. They're 255-35. If they were 255-40 the rear would sit an inch higher than the front and stock Stingers would be like...

Whoops, you are correct - thanks for pointing out my mistake on the original rear tire size!
