Dear Kia,
I am a happy and proud new owner of a 2018 Kia Stinger2.0 Premium. Love the drive and quality so far but I would be remiss if I did not advocate for some key items I feel you all dropped the ball on and hope you add in the future.
1. Remote Start via UVO Luxe - I see other countries have remote start standard, but in the US it is separate and my dealer has said not an option yet at all although it has been advertised. Why only give Stinger owners UVO eservices. Since this vehicle is compaired to BMW,Audi,Porsche it should have this luxe feature along with K900 owners. Please update the software and allow all Stinger owners to have UVO Luxe or at minimum, Remote Start.
2. Power Liftgate button - I am perplexed why the base trim comes with a power button inside the vehicle and on the liftgate but the more expensive Premium trim does not. Not logical
3. Auto locking doors when you leave the car - As I have only owned the car less than a week maybe I'm missing how to do this, but have not found it in the owner's manual yet either. One amazing benefit of push button engine start is that you don't have to have your key in your hand. This purpose is defeated when I must find my key when exiting the car to lock it. Yes I can push the lock button on the door handle, but that's not luxurious. It should lock after a certain amount of time, which it does not seem to do. Hopefully I'm wrong and just have to change a setting or something, I'll keep looking because otherwise it's inconvenient.
