User Agreement and Rules for The Stinger Owners Group

1. Legal Status & Official Representation

Service Classification: The Stinger Owners Group is a provider of an "interactive computer service" under 47 U.S.C. § 230. All postings, messages, and content are "provided by another information content provider" and not by this website or its parent company, CarsConnected.com LLC (d/b/a Madison Ross Media Group), unless explicitly stated as an official announcement.

Authorized Agents: The only authorized representative of this website and CarsConnected.com LLC is the designated Lead Administrator.

• Moderators & Staff: Moderators and Co-Administrators are members with extra privileges and are not legal representatives of the site. Their opinions are their own.
• Regional Coordinators: Members with this tag are local enthusiasts, not site representatives. Events they organize are not official site events, and we are not liable for any mishaps occurring at such events.

2. Community Rules & Conduct

Violation of these rules is grounds for immediate banning or reduction of access at the discretion of the Lead Administrator or moderators.

• Civility: No flaming, personal attacks, or name-calling. "Straddling the line" of respectfulness will be treated the same as a direct rule violation.
• Prohibited Topics: No discussion of religion, politics, or sexual preference.
• Content Restrictions: No profanity in subject lines or signatures. No pornographic or objectionable material. Refrain from using creative spelling to bypass censor filters.
• Site Loyalty: No linking to other communities that are primarily related to this niche for the purpose of poaching traffic. Contact us for legitimate link exchanges.
• Technical Manners: No "forum bombing" or cross-posting the same topic in multiple sections. Post in the most appropriate forum for your topic.
• Integrity: Do not impersonate others. Secondary "alias" accounts used for arguing or belittling others will result in revocation of privileges.

3. Commercial Policy & Advertising

• Solicitation: No spamming or commercial solicitation unless authorized. Selling multiple items of the same product is considered commercial and may be removed.
• Vendor Rights: Commercial posts are only permitted for supporting vendors. Advertising includes business contact info, corporate logos, and direct/indirect solicitation.
• Affiliate Disclosure: This community participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and similar affiliate programs. We reserve the right to overwrite or replace any affiliate or monetizable links with our own tracking.
• Ad-Blockers: By using this site, you consent to view advertising in exchange for access. Use of an ad-blocker is outside of acceptable use.

4. Content Ownership, Licensing & Privacy

User Ownership & License: You retain any ownership rights you have in your Content. However, by creating or submitting Content to our community, you grant this website and CarsConnected.com LLC a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable, transferable, and sub-licensable license to copy, use, modify, adapt, prepare derivative works of, store, distribute, perform, and display your Content and any name, username, or likeness provided in connection with your Content in all media formats and channels now known or later developed anywhere in the world.

Moral Rights & Metadata: You agree that we may remove metadata associated with your Content, and you irrevocably waive any assertions or claims of moral rights or attribution with respect to your Content.

Permanent Record: To maintain the integrity and continuity of public discussions, members may not edit-out or delete content they have posted in the past or present. All user-generated content, once posted, is considered a permanent part of the community archive and is subject to the irrevocable license granted above. Upon request, personal identifying data can be anonymized rather than removed, at the sole discretion of the site administration. Requests for Content to be removed or modified will be undertaken only at our discretion.

Data & Subpoenas: We reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any information we collect about you) in the event of a valid subpoena, court order, or other legal mandate. We may also disclose such data if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of our members, investigate violations of these terms, or defend the legal rights of this community and CarsConnected.com LLC.

Third Parties & Business Transfers: We do not sell, rent, or distribute your email address or personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. However, in the event that this website or its parent company is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your personal data may be transferred as part of that business transaction. In such an event, your data will remain subject to the promises made in the then-current Privacy Policy.

5. Warranty & Liability Disclaimers

"As Is" Clause: This website and third-party sites/materials are offered "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" with no warranties. We do not warrant that functions will be uninterrupted or free of viruses. You assume the entire cost of all necessary maintenance or repair.

Real-Time Nature: It is impossible to review all messages or confirm the validity of all info posted. Messages express the views of the author, not the site. We have many time constraints and cannot guarantee we will be able to edit or delete posts that break rules.

Limitation of Liability: This website, its parent (CarsConnected.com LLC), XenForo Ltd., and their agents are not liable for any direct or indirect damages. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the service.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless this community, its associated manufacturers or entities, and its administrators from any liability or third-party claims (including insurance carriers or government entities) arising from your use of the forum.

6. Administration & Enforcement

• Discretionary Action: We reserve the right to remove content or ban any user, for any reason, without warning. Content removal, account restrictions, or the lowering of a publicly viewed 'user rating' can be utilized as disciplinary measures at the sole discretion of the Lead Administrator or designated moderators.
• Permanent Ban Policy: If you are banned and attempt to circumvent the ban via new accounts, VPNs, or technical masks, you acknowledge that your access is unauthorized and constitutes Digital Trespass. All associated accounts will be permanently terminated.
• Freedom of Speech: You understand that while the US Constitution guarantees freedom of speech, this is a privately owned website governed by this Terms of Service agreement.

7. International Compliance & Safety Addendum (2026)

1. Age Restrictions (Australia & UK): In compliance with the UK Online Safety Act and Australian regulations, this service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. Australian Users accessing this site warrant that they meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to use age-assurance technologies to verify your status.

2. Content Standards & Prohibited Conduct: We strictly prohibit "Priority Harmful Content" as defined by international regulations. This includes content promoting self-harm, eating disorders, suicide, non-consensual intimate images, cyberbullying, adult cyber abuse, or promotion of terrorism/illegal activities.

3. Reporting & Redress Mechanism: We provide tools for users to report content via the "Report" button on every post or our contact us link.

• Takedown Requests: For users in Australia, we act expeditiously to review and remove content violating the Online Safety Act, typically within 24 hours of a valid notice.
• Appeals (Redress): If your content is removed or your account restricted, you have the right to appeal the decision by contacting the administration. Following an appeal, the original moderation action can be upheld, modified, or overturned at our sole discretion.

4. Jurisdiction & Data: This service is operated from Florida, USA. You acknowledge your data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and that disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, subject to mandatory local consumer protections in your home country.

Final Provisions: By completing registration, you declare you are over 16. If any part of this agreement is found illegal, the remaining pieces remain in effect. You agree to settle disputes through legally binding arbitration if chosen by CarsConnected.com LLC.
