When viewed vs the targeted competition, we need a darker color palette. The penultimate darkest color (if this is the final US availability) is a light gray.

Yeah, I was very disappointed to see the removal of the dark grey color (Panthera Metal in overseas markets). The dark grey + red Nappa color combination looks great and was what I planned on ordering.

KIA has the worst marketing team of....(pick a comparison). How do you know they dropped a popular color? Because they left it out? Could they have simply forgotten about it?
Look at this:
Notice the tire sizes:
Reallly, really, yes REALLY SLOPPY!!!!!

I am reading the US Operators Manual and have an open document ready, where I note all the mistakes, typos, editing fault, you name it. The manual is as sloppyly written as their website. They appear to have never heard of editing guidelines. (shaking my head)

The color pallet for the us stinks. My top choices are the chroma blue, panthera metal and thunder grey. That leaves only micro blue as a serious interest with yellow Maybe. The price best come in line or 4th choice colors will not cut it.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Yes the colors shown are very disappointing. How they could just leave colors off, I don't know though.

I originally loved micro blue on the debut videos, but now not so much. I am stuck on the deep chroma blue with that beautiful shade of redays interior, but it doesn't look like that color will be available. I am not a buyer til next model year if colors do not change I think I will go with micro blue and get auto flex in federation orange over it.

Below are the colors from the official Austrian brochure. Obviously Kia can provide all colors for a tiny market like Austria. Why are they limiting the choices in some markets? It just does not make any sense.

I live in Virginia. There are, according to Kia, 4 Stingers on display in the state.

I have seen 2 in person and one other on You-tube. Cool car. They are all 3 Deep Chroma Blue. Very cool color.

So "Color" me confused on this as a marketing approach....... You can see it, sit in it, take pictures, show your better half....but you can't buy it? I believe they want early adopters to jump in, switch from our history of BMWs, Audis, Lexus,Acura etc. and pay something near m.s.r.p.

Maybe my strategy should be to step back, wait for the inventory of bright colors to build up and then capture the benefits of supply and demand.

Or maybe the darker colors will drop in the U.S. later this month.........

Lake Stone is probably my color out of this list...

Except, unless someone at US HQ has a change of mind, these are the current exterior color choices for the US market:
MICRO BLUE
SNOW WHITE
AURORA BLACK
SUNSET YELLOW
CERAMIC SILVER
HI-CHROMA RED
SILKY SILVER

Start lobbying, try to contact KIA US directly. Tell them what you want and that they are missing an opportunity. Isn't that what lobbying is all about?

I need to see Ceramic Silver in person. It looks terrible in the picture but that's not an actual picture of the car. I didn't want a light colored Stinger because of that rear side reflector but as @westcoastGT has recently revealed to me - you can get a reflective piece in any color to cover it. You can even get black or white. That'll hide the reflector but still actually reflect. Pretty cool if you ask me...

So Silky Silver might work as well. Red and Blue are also on my list of possibilities...

Lake Stone was also one of my candidates but guess what? Lake Stone is the only color NOT available in Germany.
Your colours are the Same as Australia, no lake stone here either i think. DCB popular though.

Deep Chroma Blue was my #1. The Panthera Metal was #2. Now that I have seen the blue in person, I won't settle for what would be 3rd best for me. Kia must have some issues. It seems like more than half of their demo models were the Deep Blue. Seems a major marketing error to tease a color that won't even be offered. Maybe they are only doing colors they feel are needed for a sports car so as not to impede too much on the Genesis G70. To me, the colors they excluded pull the car a little more towards the luxury side than the sporty side so maybe that was their thinking. Either way, I don't believe I can compromise on that one. It's too important to the looks of the car for me.

Those are my favorite colors as well. Another member who works at a dealership says the Panthera Metal will be available. I guess we'll see. I'm not fan of these other colors.
