Choosing Hi Chroma Red, Deep Chroma Blue and Ceramic Silver

Hi all I know choosing the color of the car is really a personal preference. I really like these three colors. But these colors really got me to think what each color means to you.
To me the hi chroma red feels more exciting and more sporty. It gives you a feeling of excitement and there is urge to move forward.
The deep chroma blue feels more mature and understated. Like a gentlemen’s ride. Reminds me of Aston Martin.
Whereas the ceramic silver it is very interesting. I can’t really put my finger on it. It sort of gives a “I Know I am fast but I don’t want to show off too much.”
So I just want to know how you end up choosing your ride and why? What does the car of the color bring about in you? Thanks.

I'm picking up my white stinger tomorrow. Was stuck on Ceramic Silver and White for a long time. After comparing the two, I just felt like the white looks too clean and mean haha. And it goes well with the red brakes and the red lights.

I like the 3 colours you selected simply because they don’t blend in with everything else on the road. I passed on the ceramic silver (ghost grey up here) because it lacked the “wow” factor in my eyes, leaving me with the choice between the blue and red. Although I liked the fact that the blue is less common than the red, I still went with my first gut instinct and chose the red.
As a side note, everyone I speak to about the car really likes the colour. We have 3 other red vehicles at our offfice and this particular shade of red is quite striking, better than all the others.

Never liked blue cars, Had many silvers, but never have had a red car. Shopping for the Stinger, my first choice was the Snow White Pearl ... then looked at all the colors in full sunshine and the Hichroma ... called my name! Also, RED is only availible with the 3.3TT.

The Hi Chroma Red is a colour that is difficult to bring out in pictures. The Hue is really awesome and gives an air of sophistication. You have to see it in person at different lighting.

Great topic by @Kmerlion to discuss. All of your projections of each color at what it resembles are spot on !! I totally agree on with you on all levels, and would like to add my personal preference regarding each color.

Hichroma Red is a great color on the stinger and it's the Stinger brand color.. but for me a feel that this color even for its sportness and excitement after a couple of years, the feeling you once felt will start to fade, and get bored with it. Ofcourse in some case of owners washing it every other day will keep that feeling rolling.

The deep chroma blue feels more mature and understated.

With deep chrome blue, will give the care a more luxurious look to it, like with what you get if you bought an Aston. But my concern is that this color hides the cars sportness in most aspects of the car. So it suits people whom would like to present them self's as gentlemen, and hide their car enthusiasm from work place, career.. etc.

The Ceramic Silver was my choice to go for three reasons:
-It felt between both Red and Deep Blue (in terms of projection).
-As you said, its a confident color, it knows its fast but it's not bragging about it. (And I like that very much, as I like to think to my self it represents my personality)
-Last but not least, I've always figured that silver/grey color are always timeless colors. with these kind of colors they will always look current/present-day/futuristic colors.

I know that I went on and on with the ceramic silver, but that's what I think and bought it according to my personal taste.

Kmerlion, I feel your pain. I went with GiveMeATicketNow Red because I’ve had red cars before but were garnet or burgundy or similar. I never had RED!!! I wanted this as it scratched that itch.

For you and others on the fence, there is a solution...

I have the red and love it. I was between the red and ceramic. I’d stay away from blue right now as they seem to be chipping the most, but I also have a small chip. Keep that in mind.

I have DCB (with red nappa leather) as I feel its has the best mix of looking premium/prestige and cool/tough at the same time. Also it looks completely different with changing daylight levels and the fact that is is an uncommon choice was also appealing. People are always commenting on what a unique colour it is, especially with the purple undertone their is no other car from any other manufacturer on the road today that is the same.
Also is it the micro blue that is mostly presenting paint chipping issues, not DCB

I went Ceramic, thought the black accents just popped against it. Though I've always had silver, gun metal, and graphite colored cars in the past.

In reading I found this perception: The message you send by driving a vehicle that is Silver or Gray: Elegant, loves futuristic looks, cool.

Blending in is desirable in most circumstances! The Stinger has grundles of "Wow!" factor no matter what color. And for now, just being a Stinger is "less common" enough to satisfy me. Red is the most iconic Stinger color, imho. But that's because I was introduced to the Stinger via the promo book, which definitely pushes the Red.

Great suggestions and reasons for the color of your car so far. I am fascinated how basically the same car can elicit different emotional responses from different people by altering the colors and causing people to decide their purchase plan.

when i had seen the car in car and driver, they showcased the red. i think motortrend had the blue. the mrs didn't seem to be attracted to either car when we had gone to kia looking for a replacement for her mustang. she was leaning towards the orange soul! 2 trips to the same dealer and they had just taken delivery of the sunset yellow. she saw it, and said thats the car. i am not one to stick with one color, even having a metallic mocha mercedes at one point. but there is something to be said about driving a bright yellow stinger that even ray charles and stevie wonder can see. can't lose it in a parking lot. granted, police gravitate towards us, but, that just means that everybody around me can speed up.

Having been on a couple of drive cruises and seeing the various colours i noticed the lighter cars really showed off their lines more vividly. Especially silky silver, white and ceramic grey. The darker colours such as mine Dcb appear to loose their lines. However at night that is really when it takes on another life. Red appears to tick both boxes although ive never owned a red car.

Ceramic Silver!!! I have rcvd so many compliments on the color, it;s aggressive enough and subdued enough... AND it hides dirt very well!!!

This is my first red car EVER! It wasn’t my first choice, but Kia refused to put together the color combos I desired. And that was completely driven by interior color options (for which we weren’t able to bring ourselves to enjoy what Kia put together with the red leather - too much!) I certainly think I would have liked Liquid Silver best.... but, this HighChroma Red has grown on me. Looks fantastic in most light. My recommendation to ALL new purchasers... consider some form of paint protection while your paint is new and as pristine as it will likely ever be. My personal experience is the Korean brands aren’t doing something that other manufacturers are. Not sure if that’s more layers... deeper clear coats... something? My Elantra hood was shamefully chipped! And after my first chip in the Stinger, I took action! 9H nano coating! A single layer (self applied) and no further paint issues thus far. ....fingers crossed. Enjoy your new wheels! It’s a blast. db

Would the chroma red body with red interior be an overkill?

I like the red interior as compared to the usual black interior.
