Hey there @AV8R, been trying since this morning to start a private conversation, but its still not working, anyway hope all went well with the hospital visit.

Yep all good. Bit sore no food for two days only water then soup then light solids. Great way to lose a few kgs. Soon as I poop I’m outta here! Probably tues home. Great a not having a bag stuck to me like a leech.

The sales manager of the local dealer took me for a drive in his Stinger today to hear the bi-modial exhaust. Not bad, a bit on the quiet side, certainely not offensive. Jury still out i still need to hear others. Basically if you're paying top dollar you need to love it i feel.

Sure was he has silky like yours, got the dash mat and the floor mats. Had the heat issue looked at will put that finding under the right forum heading later. Also lisa tells me to tell Sue she's got the cat on " that cat food"

So I went to get tow bar fitted yesterday by my dealer.

Apparently they couldn’t fit the tow bar due to the bi-modal exhaust installation!

They have referred back to Kia Australia for resolution.

Am l the only person in Australia to want a tow bar fitted who has a bi modal exhaust fitted?.....Doubtful!

Also got my first 3,000 km service and they fixed the rear tailgate washer issue they have been talking about.

Pretty impressed they picked this up so quickly and......rattle in the rear l had noticed previously has now disappeared!

That’s a big oversight, any updates on whether they can fit it at all?

None whatsoever. Me thinks I’ll be getting a refund back.

Having second thoughts about tow bar anyway. The tow rating is pretty ordinary and I really only wanted it in case someone bumps me in the rear whilst parking.

If you need a tow bar for towing, that's fine, but for parking, not necessary, and it looks like it can't be fitted anyway, where in Melbourne are you from.?

It’s strange that most Stinger owners in Melbourne live in the northern suburbs.

Still only seen one other Stinger on the road for the last 2 months almost and I do a lot of driving.....500km a week.
