Who wants a sedan these days -- the world wants suvs and hatchbacks. and thats really what a stinger is -- an awd five-door hatchback with gt looks. In essence, it IS a low slung SUV with a big hatch. KIA, DROP THE SEDAN DESIGNATION.

Take a BMW X5 or X6 for a spin , they drive incredibly well , I've never driven the Audi or BMW versions but I'm betting they handle pretty well too..............the North American version well yes ..........boatsThat would be easier, but I think the SUV vendors need to drop the #@!$ "Sport" and tell it like it is -- Utility Vehicle. There is nothing sporty about any of them except maybe the Porsche and Lambo versions.

C'mon , the Stinger is no SUV / CUV . maybe a better nomenclature would be Sport HatchWho wants a sedan these days -- the world wants suvs and hatchbacks. and thats really what a stinger is -- an awd five-door hatchback with gt looks. I like the term Hot-hatch to describe the sportback/hatchback segment. I think it goes well when describing the Stinger.
It’s marketed as a sedan, but I’m still a believer that it’s really a truck...
The term Hot-Hatch is for a smaller, traditional hatchback car. GTI, Focus RS, Golf R, Civic Si. The Stinger does not fit in that category.
Also the stinger isn’t an SUV/CUV - trying to justify that is just crazy talk.
Sportback has been kind of a catchall not a wagon not a sedan designation. Mitsubishi had the Ralliart Sportback, Lexus had the IS300 Sportcross ( I think that was the name of it).
Not sure where, but i have heard the stinger called a Salon or Salon back. Aussie?
