Looking to find the more respectable and mod friendly dealer around aldie chantilly area for service. Anyone have any experience with dulles kia or chantilly kia?
The reason I'm asking is I have to do the recall and there's cracking on both my exterior roof molding. I want to find a dealer that won't mess up the recall and give me bs on warranty for the roof molding.
Thank you! You ever had your roof molding cracking? I noticed it today when I was washing my car. Also did you get your recall done there too?I do not imagine Ourisman is going to give you too much of a hard time for those. You can always tell Jeremy, he is the Service Manager in the service department Jennifer Perrin sent you in. May or may not help.![]()
I have a racechip and I unplug it for inspection and service and revert to stock.Anyone in VA, do you guys pull the jb4 out for safety inspections or do you put on map0 and pull the OBD2?
Pope’s Auto Body in FairfaxHi all! Hope everyone is surviving these crazy times. I came back from Tennessee last weekend and the car suffered a rock chip on the windshield. It has not fractured to at least 10". Can anyone recommend a good windshield replacement place in Northern Virginia, preferably towards Dulles Airport?
Thanks!

Hey all, just wanted to chime in since I've been MIA for quite some time... first with the bad - I moved up to Philly (I know.. I know..) about a year ago, now. Had a heck of a time rolling around with my Stinger, getting all kinds of looks. NO ONE knows that car up here. Sadly, some moron on 95 decided it'd be a great idea to cause a 6-car pile-up and my baby was totaled. I walked away with minor bruises. On to the good - I've finally replaced her! I just picked up a '22 Scorpion Edition and finally back in it! I'd been without wheels for nearly 9 months and it was such a bummer to be stuck in my wife's Cherokee all summer. Pro tip: that thing doesn't corner well.
Anywho. So I'm stuck up here in Philly, but maybe one day I will drive down that way if ya'll are still doing meetups!
Ceramic Silver! It low-key kills me that I couldn't get another blue but the gray is growing on me. I tried hunting for a blue GT2 and according to cars.com, there were (as of last weekend) only about 30 for sale in the entire country, with the closest being in Charlottesville. The ceramic silver is the only choice that I would have taken on the Scorpion. I thought about wrapping it, but that's cash I'd rather put towards performance. She'll get PPF and ceramic soon. And nice choice on the Scorpion. What color?
I guess nobody needed any parts installed?!So glad to hear you are ok from that accident.
And nice choice on the Scorpion. What color?
And YES! I am always hosting meet ups and what nots. Love getting together with everyone.
Shout out to @NoVAGT2 too! Good to see you are still around too.
