Hi All, I recently acquired the Ark S-FX Carbon Fiber Hood and didn't really want to leave all of the CF exposed. I knew I was going to get it cleared anyway so I decided to have it ghosted with ceramic silver. Below is a pic of it done. The painter did an amazing job.

This looks incredible!

It almost looks photoshopped In the first pic. It's like my mind is trying to wrap around what I'm seeing and what I'm seeing I'm liking. You have any more pics to share?

That looks stunning.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Seriously, how much did you pay? I am waiting for my cf hood to arrive. Was gonna have it painted to match the car, but this is such a cool idea!!

dayyyummmmmmmm son

Any actual weight reduction or difference (even after painting) you would say or notice?

It does look fantastic! :D Hopefully lasts a while! :D

yah it is way lighter than the oem hood. word of advice on this hood. remove the "grill" in the vent and repaint with a better paint as i have seen several get rusty after getting wet. Once it is fully cured, I will be getting it painted protected.

I will leave mine at the paint shop for a month for paint to cure, before getting clear film installed. Wii show your pictures to painter, to see if he can do something like that.

Hmmm... maybe after this inflation nonsense settles and my finances are better lined up I'll pick up a carbon fiber hood... I don't think I'll paint it though... but the weight reduction would be awesome! :D

Thanks friend!!

you will need to get it cleared or PPF if the PPF is UV resistant as it is not cleared and will yellow if not protected.
