Kia Stinger Rear Spoiler Discussion

Isn't that just an M&S?

Anyone have this? Looks like one many on the forums have, but at that price (including OE color match) I think it's an excellent deal. They appear to be an OE supplier for several manufacturers and based in Ohio. They also have three different types of door strips for the Stinger on their website. (not sure I'd want them though)
A knockoff of the M&S Type S

I’ve just seen the new rear deck spoiler Sal from kiastinger.com has got in store and the made in Korea design is fantastic.
It was bought by my Kia dealer Ron Kish at Northern Kia in Melbourne, Australia and obviously imported.

Ron is going to color paint it gloss black I believe so watch this space.
The car for those interested is Ceramic Grey, has been nicely lowered, tinted with the new style of GT wheels finished in matte black and Devil Claws to be painted in gloss black like mine.

For those in Melbourne who might be looking to buy and get something different, it’s worth a visit.
Regards
Rob

Anyone know which carbon fiber spoiler is on this stinger? I like the minimal look and doesn't seem to stick up too high.

The closest I have found is the one by Maxton design but its not real carbon fiber. In the comments of the video one dude claimed to be the owner and says that the company that made the spoiler no longer makes them. Anyone know what company they are taking about?

Definitely just a Maxton Design spoiler which is available in gloss black or a fake carbon fiber finish.

Why is it impossible to find pictures of the Type G paint matched on a micro blue stinger? -.-

We painted a bunch of them. Doesn't look like we've got any installed customer pics tho. I did have a Boostec painted blue on my Stinger tho!

Anyone make a spoiler that is the full deck lid with the spoiler integrated in? I’ve only found the seibon carbon fiber ones (pic below for reference). I had a boo boo with my rear deck lid and my garage door and I’d like to replace the entire deck lid with a spoiler option that isn’t carbon fiber.

Wow, fastest reply ever award right there, thx. I really like the CF look too, I’m just afraid that with so much stock gloss black + a CF deck lid it would look out of place until I added more carbon fiber goodies. Looking to do just spoiler for the time being.

I can score an OEM decklid 300 shipped but it’s not painted. I could then get my spoiler of choice (I’m digging the duckbill ‘G’ type) and get them both color matched. Decisions decisions…

You could buy it, take it to a place to have it wrapped, that shouldn't be to pricey. Then when you start getting more CF, tear off the wrap haha.

Not a bad idea at all, or I may go OEM and wrap that… so many options. I’ve always seen other cars and go “wow that looks nice” but when it comes to my own, I’m afraid of making a decision so I just never do. I’m not very good at modding the looks of cars.

Don’t laugh, please (ok you can a little) but to avoid having cracks and chunks missing from the spoiler, I taped it up as best I could so as to make it look not too noticeable unless you’re close to it. My wife, my sister and a few friends seem to like it, gorilla tape is like a matte black carbon look. Perhaps I’ll get an OEM one, wrap it semigloss black, add a G-type spoiler?

I believe all replacement deck lids are CF. Not a big deal, you can just have it painted.
