Lease then Buyout - Contract Explanation

The language also doesn't seem specific enough to encompass this lease buyout. It seems as if the entire warranty would be kept, but we are buying before the lease's end, which is how the contract is worded.

It does. A lease buyout can be done on day 1 of the lease or the last day of the lease. You are buying out the car based on the remaining amount to be paid. When that happens does not matter as that is the definition of buyout.

Trying to catch up on this thread. Was offered the attached quote for a Kia dealer in San Diego, CA. MSRP is $51,580. Should I try to talk down the selling price?

I test drove that exact car a week ago lol. Point out the scratch (I think) on the left rear bumper and I'd try and work it down a bit more

See my post. I also live in San Diego and drove that car. I bought in Huntington Beach for 10% off MSRP plus 7k lease cash off. Also check out citrus Kia. Easy to take an Uber there and save thousands. You can message me too.

Did you get the GT2 for 10% off MSRP w/$7k lease cash? That’s an amazing deal.

All of those PII classes taken during annual training and still...damn, Teufel Hunden.

What are the $1200 worth of fees?

see my post for the deal I got. It’s doable with some work and perseverance. Start with true car of every dealership within 200 miles. Then use price against other dealers. Citrus Kia had killer deals on their website so you could start with that price. In the end Car Pros Ki Huntington offered me an amazing deal in a car still wrapped in plastic and I bought it. They are awesome I can give you my contact person

Damn fella, wasn’t even thinking.
Who knows what those fees are for? I’ll find out though.

Liam Kennedy. Younger guy- but super responsive. But I came to him armed with an amazing offer from the Carlsbad Kia dealer on their car- but it had prior lot damage so I didn’t buy it.

@Koreanmissile I am from bay area and having a challenge getting 10% off MSRP locally. Do you know if Car Pros Kia Huntington Beach ships cars to bay area and if so the shipping cost? (Also, if you can DM me your contact person, that would be great.)

Here’s the new numbers they are offering me now. What do you all think?

@tjv777 I assume you plan to do lease buyout. If so, have you confirmed that $2,500 Stinger Customer Cash in the above quote is still included when you apply for lease?

The reason I ask --- sometimes Kia incentives are not stackable.

It’s the lease breakdown & definitely doing the lease buyout.
Customer cash is not the same as the lease cash. I would just look at the dealer discount from msrp and validate what the lease cash is. Should be way higher for a GT2 right now.

Hi everyone. Looking to do a lease buyout on a 2021 stinger gt2. I live in NJ. Any good dealerships you guys have had good experience with I should contact in NJ, NY, PA, CT area? How much of a discount should I target for my area? Thanks for any help!

I keep reading about how KMF can have delays with sending the title if you buy out too early, while some people have no problem. Has there been any agreed upon consensus with how long you should wait before buying out?
