5 things I hate about my Stinger GT

The wiper thing is not new to me as my previous car (Audi) had the same thing. The Audi was worse because you actually had to go through the menu to select the wiper neutral position thing and it was a real pia

2019 must have changed Auto Hold. Because my 2018 GT1 never "remembers" that it was ON when I turned the car off. The first two things I do when I start the car is turn ISG OFF and Auto Hold ON.
Your Auto Hold turns on automatically? Mine is persistent, only is on if I had it on when I shut the car off.
If you install the auto hold memory module and never shut auto hold off, it's effectively turned on automatically! (I brake softly when I don't want to use it.)
I've never heard of an Auto Hold "memory module".

I've never heard of an Auto Hold "memory module".
It's aftermarket, it's the only way to get Auto Hold or ISG memory:
Module
Edit: I don't know how to post a working link since the forums keep renaming I S G to "ISG (Idle Stop and Go)" inside of the URL

(1) The single most important is the tiny gas tank. awful.
(2) The OE wheels are 10 pounds too heavy EACH. Oh em gee.
(3) The door sills are DIRTY. And not in a sexy sort of way. My Audi Q5 had a door seal at the inner edge to keep the cabin warm and dry like every car has, but had a second seal on the outer edge of the door that just kept the sills clean from grime. I need that. The back door sills are too gross to let your coat (or her dress) touch them someone gets in and out.
(4) The power hatch should be an option on any car, any grade.
(5) Fake vents Make them real or leave them off
(6) They squandered the name GTS on a car that didn't offer enough special to justify that name.

First time someone has pointed this out.

1. No Remote Start Standard
2. Pushing a button to unlock the door vs just putting your hand on the handle
3. The wiper lift procedure, they should just lift up like every other car
4. Weak Paint
5. People asking me why in the hell we bought a Kia

So here is the naughty list for me

oh if you haven’t already please subscribe:) planning on doing a ton more Stinger content.
Front brakes, Kia sales, Kia Service, Kia Consumer affairs, Kia management- last four would keep me from ever recommending or buying another Kia nor a Hyundai or Genesis.

Just watched the video, and was surprised to hear that all doors don't unlock when you press the door handle button (key fob proximity sensor). Mine do. The problem I am starting to experience is that sometimes when I press the button it won't unlock ANY doors (newly occurring issue). The thing that annoys ME the most with this is that it intermittently won't LOCK the doors when I press the door handle button and emits an annoying beep to tell me so.

Does anyone know how to go back to auto when your in manual?? Other than waiting for the car to stop/

And for those people complaining it goes into auto from manual. Thats only so that the car doesnt stall.... u can bounce off the red limiter in manual mode which is more than what other "manual" modes provide.

Hold your right paddle shifter, it will shift up, then to "D". If you have a standard shifter, you can slap it to left from drive, then back and you will get back to "D" too/not sure about GT2 with electric shifter...

For me, I have to hit button on driver side once to unlock it, twice to unlock all, and on passenger side once unlocks all.

I can't get mine to lock from outside if its running...I get that long beep. Also, remote start is automatically killed when I unlock after having remotely started..

If you simply click the shifter into D on a GT2 it goes back to auto mode.

You can't lock "if its running"? How is it running if you're outside the car with the key fob trying to lock it? I'm misunderstanding something obviously.

Oh really? I only need to press mine once and all doors unlock. Well, most of the time. Sometimes it doesn't work at all and just beeps at me. Grrrr.

If I stop, put my car in park and get out while its running and the key is in my pocket, it will not lock from either the button on door handle or the key/fob..
