• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

September 2019 sales figures for Holden vehicles lowest ever since 1948, and also out of the Top 10.

Saw report on news this Morning, not unexpected.

Bavarian money waster ( BMW ), Audi for rich wankers...love it
there was a facebook post stating that the Nissan "Leaf " electric car is costing people in the UK 33,000 pounds for a new battery. That's nearly $60,000 au, whose going to afford an electric car in the future ? o_O

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Thanks DCB StingerGT, I stand corrected it was $33,000 dollars not pounds. But that is still far too expensive and if the car doesn't even last very long, forget it.

Holden are the "dead man walking" of the Australian automotive industry. A real shame given what they have been to/for Australia in the past.

The ZB Commodore is selling so poorly they haven't imported ANY 2019 models at all - they are still trying to sell the cars they imported in 2018.

Yes it is a very sad story, I’ve owned many new and used commodores over the years, even I can’t see a reason to walk into a Holden dealership. They have really lost the plot in this country.
When I bought the Stinger I researched the ZB several times and couldn’t see any value in it.

Holden sells a total 2800 cars in a month the lowest in 71 years....way to go GM
Kia sells 2022 Cerato’s (Forte) that’s just one model in the same month.
How times have changed.

Just another reason to buy an electric car.

Means you can get the recent (...i.e. 2018) Holden Commodore relatively cheap now! New or Used. Compelling buying in the used car market. Turbo 4 wagon be my pick... if I needed another "large" car.

The sad thing is the ZB is a really well specced car (was a very close call between a VXR and the Stinger) just that Holden misjudged the blowback of naming it a Commodore. it's also just a little bland in the cockpit.

Agree, and the front end just doesn't work for me too.

Plus it doesn't have the great engine of the Stinger.

Is a Holden VXR the same as Buick Regal?

*Edit. Little bit of research informs me that the Holden VXR is a rebadged Buick Regal, which is the successor to the Chevy SS (for U.S.) or Holden Commodore SS for y'all. I understand the disappointment now.

*Edit 2. What's a ZB? When I search it the results show Opel and Holden Commodore.

Yes the ZB Commodore is the same as the Buick Regal, Vauxhall VXR (UK) & Opel.
These things are made by Opel in Europe
ZB denotes model number, the last Aussie made Commodore was VF.
Commodore was manufactured with different trim levels
Evoke
SV6
Calais
SS
Statesman - Long Wheel Base, you would know this as the Chevy Caprice used by some US Police.
Sportswagon - LWB
Ute
HSV = Holden Special Vehicles - Sedan, Sportswagon & Ute.

Holy shiite that's quite a busy line up.

So "ZB" and "ZF" is similar to BMWs "F10" and "G30", right?

Oh I do love sport wagons, shame mine is not that sporty. It's just a wagon I guess.
