These days on the highway at high speeds (>120mph) I feel that the car floats way too much like a boat... It makes me nervous and I would like to do something about it. Will the Eibach springs help the car be more stable? or are coilovers the only answer?
I can say that the overall ride and handling had dramatically improved with the Eibachs. It feels much more stable to me and has eliminated much, but not all, of the float.

Well, that was one of my suspension performance concerns. I have a fast style of driving (>120 <160 Km/hr) and the Eibach's springs and sway bars combo improve a lot, in my case, my Stinger's suspension performance.
I had the springs first and still had some shimmy at speed so a couple months later added the sway bars (front and rear). With springs and sways the car is much more settled.

I would do front & rear sway bars first...it is a cheaper upgrade than spring changes & as a first step it may provide the result you require.
I only have the sways done & now it’s a totally different car to drive & it suits my driving style perfectly.
Those that have done springs first are still experiencing an unsettled rear when cornering at speed.
In the end it’s your choice to do what suits you, good luck with you decision & upgrades.

Well if the prices you quote include parts & labour, that’s cheaper than here in OZ.
Front & Rear Eibach Sways are approx. AU$628 parts only then approx. 2hrs labour at about AU$110-$130/hr.
that I did know at all ,, that here in Canada car is connected to the internet 24/7 , very interesting indeed
,that mean it collects data for the car OMG
By this logic, wouldn't the tuning "over here" have to be at 140Km plus? So, it doesn't matter that they tested and tuned at the Ring, since they did it at speed. Besides, the Green Hell has every conceivable sort of surface, condition and demand on a car. It is the ubiquitous test. It's so perfect that the test track in Japan (blanking on the name) was built to duplicate the Ring and so they have a "mini Ring".
I have limited experience going fast. But what I can say is confirmation of what you said last year: going fast, the Stinger is planted. In fact the faster I went the more "hunkered down" it felt. That's what matters. Why complain about a "playful/floaty rear end" at civilized/legal speeds? That doesn't matter, if, when pushed to "spirited" speeds, the suspension stops bouncing.
personally I have make sure my tires are inflated to 38 front AND back 36 psi cold but I have found the EIbach springs, and rear sway bar really made the suspension stiffer and better over all handling !
