About that Kia badge...

I actually thought about that in the end. It doesn't have to be an exact match, it just needs to be similar. Or if we want: something entirely different (although being careful with it, so it doesn't look cheesy). I have to figure out how to tell my 3D renderer not to distort the letters when following a curve, but stuff like that is approximatioen enough:

I should have them very soon but I don't have much information on size, etcetera. He has that but he just left on a cruise yesterday so I'm not going to hear from him for a week...

It has no defined use .. it's just a 3D model :P But what I'd like first is this for the back ... in red. The ones you linked would be hard to vonvert to red I think ... I assume the "glassy" part is some sort of epoxy over the background, without being separable to put red vinyl pieces or something udner it to make it red? I'll see what you say about them when you get them :P

Yeah, I don't think it'll be possible to change the color easily. Creating a red one would be a great idea since I don't believe one exists...

I painted it with undercoat , 3 coats of flat black and 3 coats of clearcoat .................and it still chipped , use Plastidip , 3 coats and you're done , you can google "painting car emblems" , I would do it before putting the emblem on .................

No matter what color you get the black emblems look great , even black cars .
 
Damn I wish I never colored the back thing red ... now I'm addicted to having it that way.
