From the pics I have seen I counted 10 Stingers... haven't heard anything else on here or the facebook page today.

There were 12 there. I tried posting some pictures in the garage folder but couldn't figure out how to do it It was good, weather was iffy all day.

To bad only 1/4 showed that signed up, bad weather and marathon could of put a damper on things... I was hoping to see more.

Well that sucks. If I recall correctly when Sal posted the original poll to decide where Stingerfest should be hosted Chicago received over 90 votes.

Should have held it somewhere on the west coast.

I think it went down hill when it turned into a meet and greet over a fest. Zero structure just people with stingers met in a parking lot. It wasnt really a event. Hoping KIA will get on board for the next one.

I thought it was going to be some kind of event at Dave and Buster's...maybe I imagine that? I admit I didn't pay too close attention to the details since it's so far away from me.

It was gearing towards a meet in the parking lot and then people could eat and play arcades at Dave & Busters. Thats wasnt what i envisioned when this first came up. I imagined something at a park or somewhere were we could show off our cars and hoping KIA would be involved. In the end Sal had personal issues and had to pull out, so i feel bad for those that made travel arrangements for the lack of showing. I pulled my RSVP once i seen this was headed towards a meet up and not a "car fest".

I hear ya. We had about 100 people ask for the event to be in Illinois. We had RSVP's for almost 50 Stingers (some people planned on bringing friends with Stingers), and 12 showed up... It would have been a heck of a meet-up/event if most people weren't no-shows...

Even so, there's little hope at this point in time to really get a big event going for the small amount of owners who can or will show up for an event. There just aren't enough owners in one specific area - or close enough to travel - at this point in time. CamaroFest and SubieFest - how long have Camaros and Subarus been around for? Decades... The Stinger is one year old...

Car fest LOL ??? I was there early lol ......Here the truth guys for everyone reading ......I will pull a trump and speak my mind for good or bad....This was just a little meet of people just looking at the same car lol....no structure and where the hell are the 90 people that voted chicago....all excuses... i knew the minute Sal pulled out this was going down the drain... it was raining but this needs to be done at summer time man for one.... make the plans ahead of time not last minute lol.... I personally went to dave and buster and had a blast lol with my daughters and wife.....I want to shout out the guy that came from new york much credit to him and he was an awesome guy......Derek was an awesome guys i met who had the black tips...they were sick......and some cool people......No comment........

It was nice meeting those that showed up. Although I am anti Chicago sports I really like the area. Go Brewers, packers and bucks!
