Drive modes selection

Hi everyone, just got my Kia stinger and I am so stoked about it! Already have the borla cat back system installed out of the dealer and it sounds much better than the stock exhaust.

Anyway, I was just wondering if there is a way to keep a specific drive mode on when you start the car. For example, if I chose the custom drive mode and stop the car, next time I start it, it goes back to comfort mode.

Welcome, glad you are enjoying the car.

Please do a search (find) and you will see this topic has been covered extensively. Short answer is no, due to EPA restrictions the car must revert to custom or eco. If it didn’t the MPG would have to be calculated in all modes and cause the number to decrease.
